This month, Breakthrough Miami was featured in the Client Spotlight section of the QuarterCompany monthly newsletter.

Breakthrough Miami is a non-profit organization that provides educational enrichment to low-income motivated youth via a 6-week summer institute which contains academic classes as well as enrichment classes, and a school year program that consists of 14 Breakthrough Saturdays, twice a month. Breakthrough Miami prepares these talented students, grades 5 through 12, to enter rigorous academic classes and college prep programs in high school, get accepted into college, and graduate.

Breakthrough Miami also encourages college students from all over the country as well as talented juniors and seniors in Miami-Dade County to become interns and teach students during the summer institute. These interns, in turn, learn about the teaching career and become educational advocates themselves.
